VersiTip® • XS Technology for 2009 With the VersiTip line, the fly fisher is always prepared for any fishing condition.
The line features a floating and four 15 ft interchangeable sink tips that connect via RIO’s slim, non-hinging welded loops.
It is packaged with a Clouser taper floating tip plus an AquaLux Intermediate (1.5 ips 3.8 cm/s), Type 3 DC (3 – 4 ips 8.9 cm/s), Type 6 DC (6 – 7 ips 17 cm/s) and the Type 8 DC (8 – 9 ips 20.3 cm/s) sinking tips (sizes #8 – #10 only.)
It is the fly line favoured by Alaskan guides for all species and by anadromous fly fishers everywhere. A superb single-handed salmon line.
The line is made with a memory-free coldwater coating and core and for 2009 incorporates RIO’s incredibly slick XS Technology for even more distance
